The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is going to announce the CA Foundation January 2026 result on March 8, 2026, by the afternoon. Once the results are declared, ICAI will release the official pass percentage and candidate statistics for the January 2026 session. In the previous September 2025 session, the pass percentage was 14.78%, with 14,609 out of 98,827 candidates passing. Students who appeared for the CA Foundation exam may be curious about the required passing marks needed to qualify for the CA Intermediate exam. As per the passing criteria directed by ICAI in the CA Foundation exam pattern, the candidates are required to score at least 40% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 50% in all four papers.
To get a clear understanding of the passing marks for the CA Foundation, the total marks for all the papers combined in the CA Foundation is 400 marks, where each paper is 100 marks. Therefore, students must achieve at least 40 marks in each paper - Accounting, Business Laws, Quantitative Aptitude, and Business Economics. Whereas the total should not be less than 200 marks to pass the CA Foundation examination.

The CA Foundation result for the January 2026 session is scheduled to be declared on March 8, 2026. To access the CA Foundation Jan 2026 results, candidates are required to log in with their roll number and registration number.
Candidates can download their scores by following the steps mentioned below:

Click on the ICAI Foundation/Intermediate result January 2026 download link.
You will be redirected to a new login page.
Enter the registration number and roll number.
Click on the check result option.
After filling out the details and clicking on the result option, the results will be displayed on the screen.
Download the result and then take a printout for future reference.
