CA May 2026 Exam Pattern
The CA examination is a combination of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and descriptive answers. Each paper is 100 marks and has a duration of three hours. Out of 100 questions, 30% are MCQs, and 70% are descriptive, and there is no negative marking.
ICAI CA May 2026 Passing Criteria
For ICAI exams, candidates need to score at least 40% in each paper and a minimum of 50% in the aggregate to pass a group. In the case where one gets 60% or above in any paper, he/she shall be exempted from the same paper for three consecutive attempts.
