Passing Marks in CA Intermediate out of 600
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has specified the passing marks for CA Inter Jan 2026. The CA Intermediate January 2026 passing marks are the minimum marks that candidates need to score to be deemed qualified in the exams. The CA Intermediate exam has a total of six subjects divided into two groups. Candidates have the option of taking one group or both groups at once. Passing Marks in CA Inter out of 600
There are a total of six subjects in CA Inter January 2026 exam. Technically candidates must secure minimum passing marks for each group to be deemed qualified in that particular group. If candidates aim to clear both groups at once, they need to secure minimum marks for each group separately. The below given tables below denote minimum marks candidates need to secure out of 600 to qualify both groups at once.

ICAI CA Inter Exemption Rules
ICAI has also specified some exemption rules in some subjects. In case candidates fail any of the groups, they can still get exemptions in some exams. The conditions for getting an exemption in the future session of any exam are that candidates need to score a minimum 60% in that subject. Even if candidates fail the group, they will not be required to appear for the exam again.
CA Inter January 2026 Results
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will declare the CA Intermediate January 2026 exam results on March 8, 2026. The CA Inter 2026 results will be declared at the official website of ICAI - icai.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check their CA Intermediate results by entering their roll number and registration number.
