The ICAI has announced the CA Final Jan 2026 results on March 01, 2026 at 06:20 PM. Candidates can download the results from the official website by entering their roll number and registration number. Additionally, the authorities will open the CA Final May 2026 exam form window on March 3, 2026. Interested applicants can fill the CA Final exam forms for May 2026 without a late fee till March 16, 2026 and with a late fee till March 16, 2026. The CA Final May 2026 exam dates are May 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12, 2026. The ICAI CA Final admit card will be issued around 15 days before the exam date to those who fill out the CA Final exam form before the deadline. Students must visit the official website and enter their SSP login ID and password to download the admit card.
The ICAI has notified major changes in the CA Final exam schedule through a press release on its official website - icai.org. The CA Final exams will now be conducted three times a year starting from 2026, instead of the current twice-a-year schedule. Now, the CA Final exam will be conducted in January, May, and September.
The ICAI has designed the New Scheme of Education and Training to align the course with the New Education Policy, 2020 (NEP) and International Education Standards. The New Scheme of Education and Training came into effect from July 1, 2023, and has been notified in the Gazette of India on June 22, 2023. The CA Final January 2026 exam will also be conducted as per the same scheme.
The CA final is the third and last stage of the Chartered Accountancy Course and is currently divided into two groups - Group 1 and Group 2. Candidates have the option to appear in either 1) Group 1 or 2, or 2) both groups. Candidates who have completed the CA Intermediate course can register for the CA Final course. Candidates also have to complete 2.5 yrs of article-ship before registering (The article-ship period has been reduced to 2 years under the new scheme). The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts the national-level CA Final exam in offline mode across various exam centres in India and overseas. The registration is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of initial registration.
ICAI mandates all candidates to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all papers in order to qualify for the CA Final exam level.
